- Overview
- Haven is a screen time blocker built around one physical pause: stretch to unlock your phone. We designed Haven to work without creating an account. Your blocker settings stay on this device and iCloud through Apple's services.
- Information we collect
- We collect limited app analytics and diagnostics to keep Haven reliable. This can include an anonymous installation identifier, app version/build, interaction events, and crash/performance reports. We do not collect your contacts, photos, messages, or the content you view inside blocked apps.
- How data is used
- Data is used to improve app stability, diagnose errors, and understand feature usage. We do not use your data for third-party advertising and we do not sell personal data.
- Third-party processors
- Haven uses trusted service providers for analytics and diagnostics, including PostHog and Sentry. In-app purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. These providers process data under their own terms and security controls.
- Camera and motion data
- Haven can use your front camera to count movement reps with on-device pose detection during a guided unblock. Camera frames are processed entirely on your device in real time — they are never saved, recorded, or transmitted, and Haven has no servers that could receive them. If you prefer, you can always count reps manually or use the breath-only flow instead; the camera is optional. When the camera is unavailable, Haven may use on-device motion data to support movement checks. Motion data likewise never leaves your device.
- Screen Time and Family Controls data
- Haven uses Apple's Screen Time APIs to enforce limits that you configure. Apple controls access to that data through iOS entitlements and permissions. Haven does not read private content inside other apps.
- Data retention
- On-device settings remain until you remove the app or clear app data. Diagnostic and analytics events may be retained for operational and security purposes for a limited period.
- Children
- Haven is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us and we will address it promptly.
- Your choices
- You can remove Haven at any time to stop data collection from your device. You can also contact us to request deletion of server-side diagnostic data associated with your installation identifier, where applicable.
- Policy updates
- We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
