Privacy Policy

- Overview
- Haven is a screen time blocker built around one physical pause: you move before your apps open. It works without an account. Your blockers, caps and schedules are stored on your iPhone, not on a Haven server.
- Information we collect
- Limited, anonymous app analytics and diagnostics that keep Haven reliable: an anonymous installation identifier, app version and build, interaction events such as which screens are used, and crash and performance reports.
- We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, messages, or anything you view inside blocked apps. Haven has no sign-in, so there is no account to collect.
- How data is used
- To fix crashes, diagnose errors, and understand which features are used. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell personal data.
- Third-party processors
- Analytics and diagnostics are processed by PostHog and Sentry. Purchases and subscription status are handled by Apple through StoreKit, with RevenueCat managing entitlements; RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and purchase receipts, never your Apple ID password or payment details. Each provider processes data under its own terms and security controls.
- Camera and motion data
- During a camera-guided movement, Haven uses the front camera and on-device pose detection to count reps. Frames are processed on your iPhone in real time and are never saved, recorded or transmitted. Haven has no server that could receive them. The camera is optional: you can count reps yourself or use the breath-only flow, which uses no camera at all. When the camera is unavailable, Haven may use on-device motion data to support movement checks; that data also never leaves your device.
- Screen Time and Family Controls data
- Haven enforces the limits you configure through Apple's Screen Time APIs. Apple controls access to that data with iOS entitlements and permissions. Haven does not read private content inside other apps. Usage figures shown in Rooted come from Apple's own device activity reporting and are rendered on the device.
- Data retention
- Settings stay on your device until you delete the app or its data. Settings Lock and Extreme Mode state is kept in the device keychain so it survives a reinstall on the same device. Diagnostic and analytics events are retained for a limited period for operational and security purposes.
- Children
- Haven is not directed to children under 13 and has no parent-child features. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will address it promptly.
- Your choices
- Delete Haven at any time to stop all data collection from your device. To request deletion of diagnostic data associated with your installation identifier, email us with the Support ID shown in the app's Settings.
- Policy updates
- We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes are reflected by updating the effective date above.
